PIXEL 9 PRO [mid sized]

28 August 2024

The new Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL [extra large] and Pixel Fold phones were announced to arrive in mid August which they did. However, the new Pixel 9 Pro [mid-sized] phone has seen an unexpected delay, with the official ETA stated simply as "arriving in Spring".

We now believe the new arrival date for the Pixel 9 Pro to be the 24 October in stores around Australia. This should allow us to be able to install Graphene OS on a trial unit, and start deliveries by 1 November.

15 May 2024

Graphene OS now provides another first in mobile OS security with the addition of USB-C Port Control. This feature disables most of the USB attack surface by disabling the USB Controller at a low level in the kernel. Choose from five different options, with the off option ensuring the least attack surface exposure, though you can change modes as required.
